Where the Mountain Meets the Moon

Book Title~ Where the Mountain Meets the Moon
Author~ Grace Lin
# Of Pages~ 278
Summary~  Where the Mountain Meets the Moon is a book about a young girl named Minli. She lives in an old hut in China where her parents work in the fields and struggle to provide for their family. One day, she runs away to ask the Old Man of the Moon for good fortune towards her family. She had heard about him in a story her father had told her. Along the way, she meets a dragon and has many adventures with him.

Recommendation~ I rate this book 3.5 stars because it is very descriptive, and it has lots of metaphors. The thing I had a problem with is that it was kind of hard to understand. Like, in the 29th chapter, it might go back to things in the 3rd chapter.
