Summary – The book The Lightning Thief is about a boy named Percy Jackson. He grows up in New York with his mother. He soon finds out that his father is the greek god Poseidon, the god of the sea.
He soon sets out on a quest with some of his friends to find Zeus’s master bolt before the summer solstice. Along the way, he makes a new enemy with a god who is severing a horrible old power. But will he make it in time?
Recommendation – I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. Riordan makes you feel like you are on the quest too!
